Get to Know Me
My Experience, My Passion
Servicing Northwestern Vermont, I have had the privilege of teaching and sharing my student’s joy and energy of new discovery. Horses are a universe of experience, you never come to the end of what you can learn from them. I am passionate about demystifying the “how” of riding, helping riders find balance, security, and confidence in the saddle.
A life with horses isn't complete without the study of horsemanship. I offer a learning landscape for clients to explore the great wide world of horses and prepare for a lifelong journey.
From horses in my backyard, to elite programs and national competition, I've enjoyed a broad experience. A graduate of the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Studies, I pursued a multi-faceted career with horses; developing youth programs for the American Morgan Horse Association, riding, teaching, and leading as the President of the Vermont Morgan Horse Association. These roles and a passion for learning have built a vast network I put to work for clients. My greatest joy in life is pulling the strings, sprinkling the world with horses, and watching the magic unfold.

Lessons, Saddle Club & Horse School
Welcoming all riders new or experienced
Whether you’re interested in trying out a horseback riding for the first time, or are looking to improve your skills, in partnership with Destiny Morgan Farm, Colchester, Vermont, I offer several ways for equestrians of any age to start, continue, or rediscover a life with horses.
Private & Semi-Private Lessons
Private lessons are a great way to get started or improve your performance. Through a strategic mix of theoretical visualizations and practical instruction, you’ll develop a tool kit for balanced riding gaining security and confidence in the saddle. Plan to spend approximately an hour and a half at the barn with a seasoned school master chosen to match your personality, goals, and current skillset. Riders who hope to spend more time practicing and have mastered some introductory skills, are invited to a semi-private lesson with another rider in an approximately 45 minute lesson. These lessons also work well for those who have a favorite riding partner, perhaps siblings, friends, or parent and child.
Saddle Club & Horse School
Designed for young horse enthusiasts, I offer two opportunities to continue the exploration of horses in and out of the saddle. Saddle club is a half day experience offered June through August and partners a horsemanship learning adventure with building introductory riding skills through games and play. Horse school, available October through April, is a curriculum based environment delving into key aspects of horses and horsemanship with meaningful ties back to common classroom pedagogy. Classes are designed to agument classroom or homeschool learning goals.
“Riding is making the impossible possible, the possible easy, and the easy elegant.”

Horses for Sale & Lease
Only the Best
Riders ready for more independence are invited to lease a horse. A cost-effective option to ownership, a number of horses are available with full and part-time time lease options. Students interested in horse shows can also use leasing to access this exciting aspect of the horse world.
Graduates of our lease program may decide to go on and become full fledged horse owners. We frequently have quality horses for sale and offer consultation on horse searches and purchasing.
Wether leasing or buying, our stable of dream horses are ready to take you out on your own equestrian adventure!
